In a press release obtained by DAILY POST in Awka, Anambra State, on Saturday, the spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed this information.
In a recent development, Ikenga, a spokesperson for the law enforcement agency, has revealed that an arrest has been made. This arrest comes as a result of a valuable tip-off received regarding an alleged attempt by an individual named Chukwuebuka Esulo to sell a Mercedes Benz GLK Sports Utility Vehicle. Astonishingly, investigations have unveiled that this particular vehicle has been identified as the property of a victim of a kidnapping incident.
In a recent development, authorities have been made aware of an individual named Chukwuebuka Esulo hailing from Ebonyi State. It has come to light that Esulo was reportedly in search of a potential buyer for a black Mercedes Benz GLK SUV with the registration number BLF 746 EA. This incident unfolded in Agulu, a town located in the Anaocha Local Government Area.

In a shocking turn of events, the owner of the establishment found himself at the center of a harrowing ordeal. Reports have emerged that he was allegedly kidnapped in Aguleri on June 26, 2023. The perpetrators, demanding a hefty sum, managed to extort a staggering N4.5 million from the victim’s family before eventually releasing him.
According to his statement, the individual in question was apprehended for the purpose of interrogation. Startlingly, he admitted to being affiliated with the notorious kidnapping syndicate, divulging that he had been dispatched from their hideout with the intention of selling the stolen vehicle.
