MTN Ghana wins CIMG Hall of Fame telecom spot for seventh year and is named Marketing‑Orientated Telecommunication Company of the Year 2025.

MTN Ghana was honoured at the 36th Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Annual National Marketing Performance Awards on 17 October 2026 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

The institute retained the telecom operator in its Hall of Fame – Telecommunications Category for a seventh consecutive year and named it CIMG Marketing‑Orientated Telecommunication Company of the Year 2025.

Financial performance

CIMG’s citation noted that MTN Ghana recorded revenue of GHS 24.4 billion in 2025, a 36.1 % year‑on‑year increase. Data revenue reached GHS 13.4 billion and Mobile Money revenue grew to GHS 6.0 billion, indicating rising customer reliance on digital connectivity and financial services.

Company response

“For us, these awards are meaningful because they reflect the difference our services make in customers’ lives… Retaining our Hall of Fame status for a seventh consecutive year and again being named Ghana’s Marketing‑Orientated Telecommunication Company of the Year challenge us to do even more,” said Noel Kojo‑Ganson, MTN Ghana’s Chief Consumer Officer.

Kojo‑Ganson added that MTN Ghana will continue to improve the customer experience, expand digital and financial inclusion, and support enterprises as the company evolves into a platform business.
