The Ghana FinTech Awards has opened nominations for its sixth edition, running from Oct. 21 to Nov. 21, 2026.

The Ghana FinTech Awards announced that nominations for its sixth edition are now open, inviting individuals, teams and companies to submit entries between Wednesday 21 October and Saturday 21 November 2026.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday 27 March 2027, with the official launch held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

Organisers say the awards aim to recognise the contributors to Ghana’s expanding fintech ecosystem, which has seen new products, partnerships and innovations in payments, lending, savings and broader financial access.

“AI and digital assets are redefining the future of payments: making money move smarter, faster, and across borders with greater inclusion and opportunity,” said Cristina Swan‑Awagah, Project Coordinator, Ghana FinTech Awards.

She added that the awards give the industry a chance to recognise those leading this change and encouraged the public and industry players to submit their nominations before the deadline.

The 6th Ghana FinTech Awards is organised by Arkel Limited in partnership with KPMG Ghana, the Ghana FinTech and Payments Association and Fintech Management Solutions (FMS), with support from the Bank of Ghana, Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS) and the Ministry of Finance.
