Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie was presented with the Asantehene’s Badge of Honour at the Kessben FM studios, on behalf of the Manhyia Palace, in recognition of his contributions to the entertainment industry.
“Truly grateful for this recognition. This one means a lot,” Sarkodie said in a post announcing the honour.
Community donation
In conjunction with the award, Sarkodie donated diapers, tissues, wipes and food items to the Mother and Baby Unit of Manhyia District Hospital under the Rapperholic 2026 Community Impact Initiative. The contribution aims to support mothers and children receiving care at the facility and forms part of the social‑impact activities linked to the annual Rapperholic concert.
The rapper’s outreach comes ahead of the upcoming Rapperholic 2026 event, a staple on Ghana’s music calendar.
