The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, inaugurated the Eric and Auriol Earle Learning Centre at Kodzobi D/A Basic School in the Adaklu District of Ghana's Volta Region.
The new facility is part of a broader effort to improve educational infrastructure and promote literacy among pupils in the community. It was funded by the Earle family, with particular involvement from the four children of the late Eric and Auriol Earle, who grew up in Ghana and have returned to support local education.
Minister's remarks
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Gunu described the centre as a meaningful investment in education, emphasizing that improved learning environments are essential for advancing literacy and creating better opportunities for children. He thanked the Earle family for their generosity and highlighted their continued connection to Ghana.
