In the notification, NERC requested that all stakeholders, including Nigerians, provide feedback on the rate review petitions submitted by the DisCos.
In the meantime, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) stated that the necessity to reflect the macroeconomic parameters and other elements that affect the quality of service, operations, and sustainability of distribution companies is what prompted them to conduct the tariff review.
According to what was mentioned in the document, “as a consequence, the commission hereby invites the general public to comment on the rate review applications by the distribution licensees.”
