The Federal Government has announced the abolition of the gasoline subsidy, a historic first. The government has declared a staggering N5 billion palliative for each state to alleviate the probable impact on the federation’s states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). At a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum presented the latest developments. Following the conclusion of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, the governor met with State House reporters.
