
Kwara state government have recently instructed that work days should be reduced from 5 days to 3 days for public workers due to the removal of fuel subsidy by the federal government.
This was made known by the state head of service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole in an announcement today.
According to Mrs Susan Modupe, the decision was an initiative of the state government that seeks to alleviate the financial burden of the workers following the removal of fuel subsidy and consequent increase in pump price.
The removal of fuel subsidy has brought so much frustration to the masses, where lots of people cant afford to live. The decision made by the Kwara state government it’s believed to really be of good assistance to a lot of workers in the state.
