
The employment of four extra media assistants has been given the green light by Seyi Makinde, who is the governor of Oyo State.
On Monday, the information in question was made public by the governor.
The newly appointed officials were given the charge from Makinde to carry out their responsibilities as planned in a letter that was signed by Segun Ogunwuyi, Makinde’s Chief of Staff. The letter was sent to the newly appointed authorities.
Sulaimon Olanrewaju, who acts as the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, provided the letter to the DAILY POST. Sulaimon Olanrewaju is a member of the editorial board of thegisthouse.

According to the statement, Oluwadare Daniel Aleshinloye has been reappointed to the post of Special Assistant on Photography, while Olorundare Olamide Wilson has been appointed to the position of Senior Special Assistant on New Media for New Media. Both of these appointments were made under the department of New Media.
Timilehin Olubiyi and Mobolaji Dada have been promoted to the roles of Special Assistant (New Media I) and Special Assistant (New Media II), respectively. These responsibilities were previously held by Miss Mobolaji Dada.
According to the release, Makinde has also granted his approval for Mr. Abiodun Oni to be appointed as the Director-General of the Mineral Development Agency of Oyo State and Executive Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company. This appointment was made after Makinde approved the appointment of Mr. Oni. This appointment came about following Mr. Oni’s tenure as the most recent occupant of the position of Commissioner for Environment.
