Following the launch of the Nigerian aircraft “NIGERIA AIR”. The House of Representatives has FOUND discrepancies in the purported launch of Nigeria Air at the twilight of the administration of former President, Muhammadu Buhari, hence it was declared a fraud.

Hon Nnolim Nnaji, the Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation, declared the launch of Nigeria Air a fraud after the major shareholders in the deal between the Federal Government and Ethiopian Airlines declared they have no knowledge of the launch.

The Ministry of Aviation claimed Nigeria Air was only unveiled and not launched, which the committee dismissed as an attempt to divert the lawmakers’ attention.

it has been reported that the aircraft used for the NIGERIA AIR launch was hurriedly branded for the purpose after which it has returned back to Ethiopia to continue its domestic operations.

investigations further revealed that the proposed NIGERIA AIR is currently still in phase one with the request to enter phase 2 being declined due to unavailability of some required documents.
