Don’t dismiss El-Rufai for a ministerial post, Okechukwu urges President Tinubu

Mr. Osita Okechukwu, a key person within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, has encouraged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to abandon the notion of appointing Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as a member of his cabinet.

The confirmation of the former governor of Kaduna state has been cloaked in controversy, sparking significant debate. In response to a security report, the Senate has chosen to put his confirmation on hold, adding fire to the continuing debate.

According to recent reports, El-Rufai has decided to renounce the ministerial position.

Okechukwu reacted to journalist inquiries at a recent news conference in Enugu on Sunday, expressing his advice on the topic. He stressed the significance of El-Rufai’s anticipated great contributions to the nation as a minister.

Okechukwu, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, has urged President Tinubu to intervene immediately and prevent El-Rufai from being removed from the Federal Executive Council. This appeal, which is deemed critical for the country’s well-being, underscores the mounting conflicts inside the ruling party.

In a recent statement, the individual in issue recalled a previous request, asking that El-Rufai be appointed Chief of Staff. Former President Muhammadu Buhari, on the other hand, had a different plan in mind, finally choosing El-Rufai as the governor of Kaduna.

He emphasized his fear in a recent statement, saying, “The extraordinary El-Rufai tonic has been misplaced, and it would be unfortunate for both our beloved nation and President Tinubu to let this exceptional opportunity slip away.”

Okechukwu recently raised alarm about the potential ramifications of dismissing El-Rufai from his office. Okechukwu praised El-Rufai’s services to the nation’s electricity industry and cautioned that his dismissal could result in the expulsion of additional Nigerians from the National Electricity Grid accidentally.

In a worrying development, a substantial number of rich Nigerians have been barred from the public energy supply chain due to the ongoing problem of intermittent power delivery. This regrettable scenario has also impacted a large number of underprivileged residents who are unable to afford the expensive electricity tariffs. The user stated a desire for someone similar to El-Rufai in a plea for a separate leader to address the situation at hand.

In a statement issued today, the speaker indicated neither support nor opposition to the subject of the debate, Malam Nasir El-Rufai. However, the speaker acknowledged Mr. El-Rufai’s reputation as “Mr. Project” and emphasized his ability to bring about significant improvements in the electrical sector, particularly in terms of restructuring the electricity chain and tackling power industry concerns.

His track records in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Kaduna State have shown his ability to entirely restructure our power chain in a remarkable display of expertise and capacity.

In a remarkable display of commitment, he is currently nearing the end of his Ph.D. on Power Reforms Abroad. Not only that, but he has effectively assembled a team to support him in this difficult task. Okechukwu has made an earnest request that the title “Mr. President” be bestowed upon him.

When asked about his awareness of El-Rufai’s alleged wrongdoings, which could explain the security complaint against him, Okechukwu expressed his vehement opposition to any type of injustice. He was particularly outraged by the irresponsible acts of violence committed in Kaduna during El-Rufai’s leadership.

The user emphasizes the terrible impact of injustice in a forceful speech, highlighting that it knows no bounds. They specifically call attention to the catastrophic situation in Nigeria, where many lives are wasted every day as a result of an inconsistent power supply. According to the user, fixing this issue could act as a type of redemption for Malam El-Rufai.
