Former PDP member and 2020 Edo state Gubernatorial aspirant Barr Ken Imasuagbon has joined the labour party. This is coming few days after he resigned his membership of the PDP. He also proclaimed that Peter Obi won the 2023 election and will reclaim his mandate in the court.

“I want to thank the Labour party for this opportunity and for giving Nigerians fresh hope. My political history is well known. I ran to PDP little did I know that I was running from frying pan to fire, PDP and APC are birds of the same feathers, they don’t love Nigerians but their pockets”.

“I must also thank the youths of Nigerians who supported the Labour Party for what I failed to see in the Obidient and Datti movement. Today, we know who the president is and he is in the minds of Nigerians. The world is watching the courts and to see what they will do. This is the party for the Nigerian people, students and the very weak.

“All that I need is a free and fair primary. With that I will get the ticket of the party. By the time I get the ticket it is over for the PDP and the All Progressives Congress.

“PDP is dead. I have taken the glory away; the shine. By 2024, the Labour Party will form a government in Edo State.”

Housegist.com has earlier reported that Barr Ken has resigned and dumped PDP, the ruling party in the State. He asked for a free and fair primaries in order to win the party nomination ahead of the 2024 gubernatorial elections.
