NUEE, The National Union of Electricity Employees, have stated that they have plans to join the proposed nationwide strike scheduled for Wednesday.
Dominic Igwebike , the acting general secretary of the body, said the heads of the body at national and state levels should start organizing themselves ahead of the strike.
The acting general secretary made the call in a statement titled: “Mobilization for Nationwide withdrawal of services.”
According to the statement: “Please note that withdrawal of services nationwide commences from 0.00 hours of Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
“You are encouraged to work with the leadership of state executive council of the Congress in your various states with a view of having a successful action.”
