
The Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde has shared what the G5 governors which consists of Governors Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) and Nyesom Wike (Rivers).
He said that the 5 governors talked to President of Nigeria, Tinubu, about national issues in Abuja on Thursday.
Gov Seyi Makinde shared this with the reporters;
“Nation-building is a difficult task. You have to keep evaluating. We have to keep seeing the President, to let him know what is happening.
“The G-5, the Integrity Group, came to let the President know what we stand for: fairness, justice and equity,” he added.
The group consisting of the five governors “G5” was created just after former Vice President Atiku Abubakar became the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party “PDP” in May last year. Wike and Seyi Makinde have met with the president twice this week.
