Hannatu Musawa, Nigeria’s Minister of Arts and Culture, is under scrutiny over her NYSC certificate

Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, is embroiled in a dispute over her alleged lack of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

In a significant breakthrough, the NYSC Management verified on Thursday that the esteemed minister in issue is, in fact, a present corps member.

According to a statement from the Director of Press and Public Relations at NYSC, the minister is currently performing their official duties.

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has just issued a warning about a potential inconsistency in Musawa’s certification status. Musawa allegedly lacks a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) credential, according to HURIWA.

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu walked the stage to inaugurate a group of 45 ministers, including the valued man, Musawa. This momentous milestone occurred after the Senate confirmed the selections, lending credibility to the process.
