
Mateo Kovacic,29 years old mid fielder at Chelsea recently had talks with the premier league champions Manchester City.
The Croatian footballer had already admitted that he is ready to leave Chelsea after the just ended bad season for the club.
He told Nacional, via the Evening Standard: “I have one more year with Chelsea, this season was very bad.
“Everything is going towards the fact that after five good years I will change, but in football anything can happen.”
According to Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions have now agreed a contract with the Chelsea midfielder.
The clubs are expected to agree a fee after the Champions League final.
This was also confirmed by the footballer Kovacic on Thursday, saying he is ready to ‘change environment’ and leave Chelsea this summer after enduring a ‘really bad season’ at Stamford Bridge.
