President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had a meeting with Governors for the first time since he got inaugurated. He had the meeting with all the 36 states governors.

The meeting started by 12:36pm on Wednesday,7th June and it’s the first since he started working as the President.

The following governors were present at the meeting; Governors of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, Imo, and Bauchi.

Also present were the deputy governors of Edo and Niger, they represented their states respectively.

Kashim Shettima, the Vice-President of Nigeria, and George Akume, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), were also present at the meeting.
