Senator George Akume has just gotten sworn in as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation at the council chamber on Wednesday by the President Of Nigeria Bola Tinubu.

The recently sworn in secretary, Akume took his Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office in the presence of government officials.

Here are the names of those who were present  at the swearing-in; Vice President Kashim Shettima; President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan; Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr FolasadeYemi-Esan and the wife of the newly sworn in SGF, Mrs Regina Akume.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu had  also given Femi Gbajabiamila the former Speaker of the House of Representatives as his new Chief of Staff then the outgoing Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia, was given the post of the Deputy Chief of Staff.
