Documents revealed that as at Friday 2nd June 2023, the much publicized Nigerian Air had it application to enter into the second phase of getting approval and operation licence from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority NCAA rejected due to unavailability of some relevant documents.
The letter which was dated 2nd June 2023 was first posted on twitter by an independent investigative reporter David Hundeyin.
News reports further shows that the Buhari government spent over #85bn but couldn’t proceed to phase 2.
For an airline to become fully functional, it passes through 5 stages which includes ‘Pre Application stage, Formal Application stage, Documents Evaluation stage, Demonstration and Inspection stage and the final stage which is certification.
