Rodri scores lone goal to win UCL trophy, completes treble as Guardiola creates new record.

In a tough and keenly contested UEFA champions league final between Manchester city and Inter Milan,  Manchester city came out victorious with a lone strike from Rodri the only difference between the two teams. Inter Milan came into the game as the underdogs but showed determination in stopping the favorites. this was evident in the halftime goalless score line with both teams having bright chances to put the ball behind the net.

It took the citizens 68 mins before the finally found the back of the net after a low Bernado Silva was deflected to the pathway of incoming Rodri who slotted in to the left corner of the post.

Inter Milan scrambled for a late equalizer through Romelu Lukaku, Federico Dimarco and Robin Gosens but city goalie Ederson is there to put there attacks out of danger. before the final whistle was blown.

this gives Manchester city their first UEFA Champions league trophy and also complete the Treble in a season having edged Arsenal to win the league and beaten neighbors Manchester United to win the FA Cup.

Erling Haaland also won the golden boot having scored the highest goal in this seasons UEFA Champions league campaign.

City coach, Pep Guardiola also created a new record as the only manager to complete the treble twice. He did that with Barcelona in 2008/2009 wher he won the LaLiga, Copa Del Rey and UEFA Champions League.
