President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint Mohammed Badaru as Minister of Defence has provoked significant criticism.

In a recent statement, Shehu Sani, a former Senator from Kaduna Central, voiced his views on Bola Tinubu’s nomination of a politician as Defence Minister. Sani questioned the decision, implying that it might not be the best candidate for such a critical post.

Sani stressed the significance of hiring a former military officer with a proven track record of accomplishments to lead the ministry in a recent statement.
