Abuja: Three people were killed and four others were critically injured in a vehicle accident in Dutse

After a tragic car accident that took place on Saturday in the vicinity of the Tipper Garage in the Dutse Baupma neighborhood of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja, at least three people have been confirmed dead as a result of the incident.

SP Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer for the FCT Police, who confirmed the development to the Gist House on Saturday night, stated that four other people who were gravely injured are still undergoing treatment at the Kubwa General Hospital.

The PPRO added that the fatalities were confirmed at the Kubwa General Hospital when traffic personnel from the command attacked the accident scene and removed all casualties to the facility. The PPRO said that the hospital was the only place where the fatalities could be determined.

She named the deceased as Hosea Stehen, a man who was 34 years old and was from EFAB Metropolis Estate in Karasana, Abuja; Muhammad Lawal, a man who was 32 years old and was from Jere, Kaduna State; and Bashir Shaibu, a man who was 25 years old and was also from Jere, Kaduna State. All three men were described as males.

According to information obtained by the Gist House, four vehicles were involved in the collision: a black Toyota Camry with the license plate number YAB 355 AH, a Honda Pilot, a truck, and a tricycle with the license plate number KUJ 571 VE.

A Toyota Jeep with the registration number BWR 468 CD was supposedly the property of an officer with the Department of State Services, and it was removed from the scene by DSS personnel from the neighborhood of Ushafa in Abuja. This information was also acquired.

David C.Y. Audu, a male inhabitant of Ushafa, has been identified as the person who was behind the wheel of the automobile.
