Arteta blames himself for Arsenal star’s lack of game time in the Premier League

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has blamed himself for offensive midfielder Fabio Vieira’s lack of consistent game time at the club.

Arteta talked after Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.

Remember how amazing Vieira was for Arsenal when he came off the bench to replace Kai Havertz during the Gunners’ Premier League match against Fulham at Emirates Stadium?

The Portugal international won the penalty from which Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka equalized against Fulham.

“Fabio [Vieira] was excellent, and it was the first time he’d played in the Premier League this season, and I was really impressed with how he wanted the ball and how positive he was, the decisions he made, and the attitude he had right away.”

“Fabio was involved in everything we created, which makes me very happy.” To see players who can create and take risks with quality.

“It is my fault that Fabio has not played more, and today he gave me reasons to play him more,” Arteta remarked at the post-match press conference.
