President  Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presently having a meeting with Alhaji Asari Dokubo who is a former Niger Delta agitator at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Asari Dokubo is known to be a major supporter of President Bola Tinubu, he campaigned for the current President all through the process and even after.

The main purpose of the meeting is not yet known by the public, according to Channels Television, Dokubo is likely to be part of the President’s ongoing consultations with opinion leaders from the Niger Delta region.

During the week, the president met with some top figures from the oil rich Niger delta region. people he met with includes Timi Alaibe who was the former Managing Director of the the Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC) and Dr Dakuku Peterside former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) who is also a former Rivers state Gubernatorial candidate.

Last week , the president talked about his dedication to stop crude oil theft in the country.
