According to US President Joe Biden, “little happens in Russia without Vladimir Putin’s knowledge.”

Biden made these comments in response to the reported death of Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.

According to Russia’s air transport agency, Prigozhin was among the passengers aboard a jet that crashed and burst into flames on Wednesday.

All ten persons on board the jet were reported dead.

In an interview with CNN, Biden stated, “You may recall, I was asked about this.”

“I vowed I’d be careful what I rode in. “I don’t know for sure what happened, but I’m not surprised,” Biden said, according to CNN.

The US president went on to say that “not much happens in Russia that Putin is not behind, but I don’t know enough to know the answer.”
