
A dramatic scene unfolded at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday as officials from the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Correctional Center clashed.
In the aftermath of a court ruling that mandated the suspended Governor of the Central Bank, CBN, to meet his bail conditions before being released, a heated altercation ensued between the two parties involved.
In a recent development, it has been reported by DAILY POST that the Nigerian secret police have made plans to bring Emefiele back into custody. Additionally, the men of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) were present at the scene, prepared to transfer the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the correctional center as per the court’s order.

In a significant development, Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court granted bail to Emefiele, who had been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) for a period of six weeks.
In a recent development, the accused individual has been granted bail following his plea of not guilty to two charges related to the alleged illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
