Elon Musk plans to launch video and audio calls on the X platform

Elon Musk, the owner of the renowned social media platform X, recently announced intentions to add video and voice call functions to the app. Musk made this announcement on Thursday, emphasizing that users would not be required to submit a mobile number in order to access these new functions. Musk announced in a written statement, “Video and audio calls coming to X.” It is compatible with Android, iOS, Mac, and PC.

There is no need for a phone number. X is an efficient global address book. That combination of elements is unusual.” This development comes just a few weeks after X, formerly known as Twitter, began paying prizes to creators who are Twitter Blue subscribers.

It’s worth recalling that Musk replaced Twitter’s famous blue bird logo with a white X on a black background in July, signaling the platform’s rebranding.
