Ex Manchester United star, Nani Leaves Melbourne Victory After Not Scoring any Goals

Nani,36 , Former Manchester United and Portugal winger has recently left Melbourne Victory after only 10 league appearances, the Australian club said on Wednesday, May 31.

The Portuguese was widely known as one of the A-League’s biggest stars when he signed last year. But unfortunately he failed to score any goals, then a  very serious knee injury put him out for the rest of the season.

 

“The club would like to thank Nani for his contribution and wishes him the best for the future,” Victory said in a statement.

In 2015, the footballer joined from Italian club Venezia, following contracts in the United States, Spain, and Turkey, having left United in 2015.

Nani in his career over the years was capped 112 times for Portugal and won the Premier League with United.

Melbourne Victory finished the A-League season 11th in the 12-team table.
