The Super Falcons of Nigeria have gone up to two places in the recent ranking that was released by FIFA. The Super Falcons who were in the 42nd position have now moved up to the 40th position, the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) released this on Friday on their official website.

This ranking is the final before the women FIFA 2023 world cup kicks off  in July which will be hosted by neighbouring countries New Zealand and Australia. The next ranking will be released after the world cup on the 25th August 2023.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are still rated as the top in Africa followed by South Africa, Morocco and Zambia. The four African countries will represent Africa at the upcoming FIFA world cup this July.
