Kyari, the CEO of the NNPC, pays Sallah homage to Tinubu in Lagos

Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at his mansion in Lagos on Thursday as part of the festivities commemorating Eid el-Kabir.

Kyari disclosed this information in a tweet that he published on his Twitter page. He stated that he had paid a visit to the President of Nigeria along with Folashodun Shonubi, who is serving in the capacity of acting Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The head of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) expressed his thanks for the honor and mentioned that Sallah is a day when Muslims recommit themselves to Allah by performing an act of worship in which they give away their most valued possessions.

The following is an excerpt from his letter: “Privileged to pay Sallah homage to Mr. President alongside Ag. Gov CBN.” A day on which believers reaffirm their resolve to please Allah and, by implication, to work toward the common good… and, lastly, to show thanks for all of the bounties delivered by Allah and to be granted the unending compassion of Allah. Eid Mubarak.”
