
Marco Verratti, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, has delivered an emotional letter to Neymar following his departure to Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal.
Verratti praised Neymar, whom he characterized as “special” and a buddy.
The Italy international, who has been linked with a move away from PSG, responded to Neymar’s leaving by writing on social media (via GOAL): “I just wanted to tell you how fantastic it was to spend all those years together.

Neymar moved to PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for a world record cost of €222 million.
The 31-year-old played 173 matches for PSG, scoring 118 goals and registering 77 assists across all competitions.
