Ten Hag’s signing will bring Manchester United’s total spending to £200 million

According to L’Equipe, Manchester United is close to signing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice for £34.1 million.

Despite failing to unload Harry Magure, Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag wants to strengthen his defense this summer.

When it appeared Maguire might join the Hammers, United wanted Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard. However, the Frenchman is now likely to join Inter Milan instead.

As a result, Ten Hag has been forced to investigate alternative choices, and Todibo is thought to be close to finalizing a move to Old Trafford.

Ten Hag was drawn to Todibo’s combination of physicality, speed, and ball-playing skills, and a £34.1m deal is now on the table, bringing United’s summer expenditure over £200m.
