Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, often known as Wizkid, has died.

The mother of three died at approximately 1.30 a.m. on Friday.

Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager, confirmed the tragedy to the press on Friday, stating, “Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am.”
