NDC orders members to limit posters to 5‑ft by 8‑ft, with a five‑day deadline for compliance.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) issued a directive on Friday, 9 October, ordering party members and aspirants to resize campaign posters and banners within five days.

Size caps and display rules

The Functional Executive Committee (FEC), which met on 6 October, approved a maximum size of five feet in width and eight feet in height for all party campaign materials. Posters and banners may be displayed only at approved sites, such as constituency and regional party offices or designated election grounds. Placement at unauthorised locations is prohibited.

“FEC is further conscious that, as the party in government, the NDC must lead by example through modesty and restraint and must avoid any display of extravagance or perception of it that is inconsistent with the values we espouse and the expectations of the Ghanaian people.”

General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey signed the statement, warning that deliberate breaches will attract disciplinary action. The party said the measures aim to promote discipline, ensure a level playing field for aspirants, and reflect the restraint expected of a governing party.

Members and aspirants have been instructed to make the required adjustments by 14 October to avoid sanctions.
