Dev Vipul Patel clinched the Junior World Tennis Tour J100 Accra boys’ singles title after a three‑set win over Om Verma.

On October 10, the final of the Junior World Tennis Tour J100 Accra boys’ singles was held at the Accra Sports Stadium National Tennis Centre.

India’s Dev Vipul Patel captured the title, defeating fellow Indian Om Verma in three sets, 6–3, 0–6, 6–4.

Patel took control of the opening set, securing a 6–3 lead. Verma responded emphatically in the second set, blanking Patel 6–0 to level the match. In the deciding set, Patel regained composure, employing disciplined tactics to close out the contest 6–4.

Tournament context

The ninth edition of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors concluded after a six‑week schedule organized in partnership with Tennis Foundation Ghana and the Ghana Tennis Federation. The event awarded ranking points and championship titles to the emerging players.

With the victory, Patel adds the Accra trophy and valuable ranking points to his junior record as he continues to pursue a professional tennis career.
