Success Ogunjobi and Sydney Wright clinched the girls' doubles title at the J100 Accra Tennis Foundation Ghana Open, beating Ndukwu and Kolesova 6-3, 6-1.

Nigeria's Success Ogunjobi and the United States' Sydney Wright captured the girls' doubles crown at the J100 Accra Tennis Foundation Ghana Open, defeating Poland's Alisha Ndukwu and Russia's Milana Kolesova 6-3, 6-1 in the final held at the Accra Sports Stadium National Tennis Centre.

The pair opened the match strongly, taking the first set 6-3 and then accelerating in the second, conceding only one game before sealing the championship with a 6-1 finish.

Tournament significance

The victory concludes a six‑week junior tour and marks the end of the ninth edition of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors in Accra, a key event on the international junior calendar that provides a pathway for high‑performance players.

Wright also secured the girls' singles title, extending her winning streak, while Ogunjobi highlighted the achievement as a testament to her skill, teamwork and determination on a major stage.
